Throwback Thursday Blog

I had a multiply blog way back 2008 after I graduated from residency training.  I just had a very few entries and I was able to import some (the others, I cannot find) in blogger before the multiply site closed down.  It is only now, I was able to open this blog site again.

I just published 2 of my favourite articles that I got in an email a few years ago. These are the "Remembering the 80's" and the "If you remember the 80's, you will remember the 90's".  I super love these 2 articles because they are a summary of my childhood up to my teenage years!  I am very nostalgic about my childhood... the carefree days, when the only people you knew were your parents, siblings, cousins, a few neighbors, classmates, bus mates, and teacher; and when you made a mistake, you were only accountable to your parents.

Being a child in the 80's or even the 90's is a lot different from being a child in the 2000's and 2010's.  Life was very simple then.  We found fun in everything, with or without a toy, inside or outside the house.  We just never got bored.

I am now in my mid 30's and I realised that all these memories of my youth that keeps flashing in my mind are still very vivid.  When I was young and my parents would tell stories of when they were young,  I thought to myself, how come they remember all these stories clearly when it happened years ago? (I always pictured them as black and white like in Sampaguita pictures). Well, I guess I know the answer now.
